Civic Power Convening 2026

At your earliest convenience, due to our limited capacity, we urge folks to submit their registration form to secure their attendance at the convening, especially if you would like to request a scholarship for travel, boarding, and/or registration.

Full participation is strongly encouraged, but attendees may join for select days if needed.

While the steering committee will make the final determination based on capacity, we encourage all interested individuals to register now. More information will follow from our team.

Organizations may send multiple representatives if they can cover the costs; additional attendance is limited by the availability of scholarship funding and conference capacity

Once you are approved to attend the convening you will receive a link to pay your registration fee using a secure platform.

You may also do this in the initial registration if you already know that your organization can pay a registration fee from our sliding scale.

No, the Richmond Marriott is located in Downtown Richmond, and there are multiple other hotel options within a mile radius of the convening.

For individuals paying on their own, at check-in you will be asked for a major credit card for the: cost of the room at a rate of $207.64 per night + additional fees for incidentals if applicable. Individuals who receive a rooming scholarship will NOT need to provide a credit card at check-in.

Yes. Please indicate childcare needs and children’s ages in your registration form.

Yes. We are committed to accessibility. Please specify your language needs when registering.

The full conference will not be virtual this year. Some sessions may be recorded and shared after the convening.
