Nazgol Ghandnoosh will participate in the grand opening of a groundbreaking new exhibit, Prisons Today: Questions in the Age of Mass Incarceration, at Eastern State Penitentiary. Once the most famous and expensive prison in the world, today Eastern State Penitentiary is a historic site and open to the public as a museum. This new interactive exhibit sheds light on the causes and impacts of mass incarceration in the United States. It elicits personal connections to recent historic changes in the U.S. criminal justice system, encourages reflection, supports dialogue, and suggests steps that visitors can take to help shape the evolution of the American criminal justice system moving forward.
