Laurel Aronson
Youth Justice Advocacy Fellow
Laurel is a senior at Georgetown University majoring in Government and Justice and Peace Studies with a minor in Spanish. At Georgetown, she serves as a part of Georgetown Prison Outreach, an entirely student-run organization that connects members of the Georgetown community with incarcerated populations. She has also served as a Title IX Ambassador for Georgetown, acting as an advocate and informational resource for peers in Title IX-related matters. Prior to The Sentencing Project, Laurel volunteered with equity-focused local organizations, including Grassroots Health and the Prisons and Justice Initiative in the D.C. Jail, and is captain of the women’s rowing team.
